Fun, relaxed and natural photoshoots. I don’t like to make people pose in uncomfortable ways that have nothing to do with who they are.
My approach to portraits is about de-mystifying the process and allowing the personality to come through.
I’ve put a few examples bellow. If this seems like something that you might enjoy, call or email to discuss directly.I met this couple outside my studio in Angel Islington. We walked around the back street of Islington taken natural portraits of them just having fun and enjoying the day. These portraits were taken in London this April. We worked for three hours using Uber to travel between three locations.
This engagement portrait session was planned with the wedding invites in mind. The couple had lots of ideas they wanted to try out for the wedding invitations and we discussed and planned together like I would with a magazine client. The results had a very editorial feel to them.
This portrait session was after a civil that was not covered with photography. The plan was to take some portraits in their neighbourhood and to capture the raw urbanity and grittiness of brick lane as it is. I feel these shots are very personal, capturing a special moment and place for two beautiful people.
